Dr. Richard Kannwischer is both humbled and honored to be called as Peachtree Presbyterian Church’s Senior Pastor, and to share in the joy of following Jesus Christ together. Prior to coming to Peachtree, Rich served as Lead Pastor at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church in Newport Beach, California for seven years. He graduated cum laude with his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Trinity University in San Antonio, where he currently serves as a member of the board of trustees. He earned a Master of Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary. He served as a member of the board of trustees for Princeton from 2010 to 2012. He also received his Doctorate of Ministry from Fuller Theological Seminary and is currently serving the school as a member of the board of trustees.

Rich met his wife, Kelly Beckham Kannwischer, at Princeton Theological Seminary where she received her Master of Divinity and the prestigious Alexander Hodge Award for Excellence in Systematic Theology. Previous to her seminary studies, Kelly graduated from the University of Virginia with a degree in Religious Studies and a minor in Islamic Studies.

Kelly and Richard have two daughters, Danica and Ashby. They enjoy active pursuits like hiking and golfing as well as reading really good books.
