    April 23 & 24 – DEPARTURE & ARRIVAL

Your journey begins when you depart the USA on your overnight international flight. You will be met at the Tel Aviv Ben Gurion Airport by your guide and transferred to your Tiberias hotel for dinner and a good night’s rest.

April 25 – JESUS IN THE GALILEE
Start your day exploring Capernaum, the center of Jesus’ ministry in the Galilee, including the ruins of the synagogue built over the one in which Jesus ministered. Stand on the Mount of Beatitudes where Jesus gave the Sermon on the Mount. At Tabgha, visit the Church of Loaves and Fishes and recall the miracle of the feeding of the 5,000. Sail across the Sea of Galilee on a very special Boat Ride while you share in a time of worship on the water. Gather together at the River Jordan where you can remember or renew your baptism.

    April 26 – NORTHERN ISRAEL
Travel north to Caesarea Philippi, where Peter told the Lord, "You are the Messiah, the Son of the Living God!” A scenic drive through the Golan Heights will help remind us how valuable this land is to the nation of Israel. At the ruins of Tel Dan, see the altar built by King Jeroboam and learn about where the “House of David” fragment from the First Temple Period was discovered. From Mount Bental, look out over the Damascus Road and reflect on the Valley of Tears battle where a severely outnumbered Israel defense force stopped the Syrian invasion of the Golan Heights in the Yom Kippur War of 1973.

April 27 – FROM SEA TO SEA
Today we say good bye to the Sea of Galilee and begin our journey to Jerusalem. Start the day at Gideon’s Spring, where Gideon chose his army of 300. Look out over Nazareth, the boyhood home of Jesus, from the Mount of Precipice. Visit Megiddo, an exciting archeological site where approximately 20 cities lie superimposed on one another overlooking the Valley of Armageddon. Explore the extensive ruins of Caesarea Maritima, the coastal port city of Herod the Great. See the Roman aqueduct, theater and more in this ancient city where Cornelius became the first Gentile convert to the New Covenant. Travel inland to Jerusalem and take a few minutes to view this historic city before continuing to our hotel for dinner and overnight.

    April 28 – SOUTHERN WILDERNESS & RUINS
Travel south to Masada, the spectacular mountaintop fortress of Herod the Great, famous as the last stronghold of the Jewish rebellion against the Romans. Take the cable car to the top and peer down at the Roman camps and siege ramp below. At Qumran, the site of the Dead Sea Scroll discovery, learn about the mysterious Essenes community that once lived there. Finally, take the opportunity to float in the renowned salt and mineral laden waters of the Dead Sea.

    April 29 – BETHLEHEM & JERUSALEM
Look out over the Shepherds’ Fields of Bethlehem, the city of David, and reflect on the birth of the Messiah our Savior almost 2,000 years ago. In Jerusalem, enter the Old City and explore the Cardo. This ancient marketplace has ruins that date back to the Judean monarchy among modern shops. View the Pool of Bethesda where Jesus performed the Sabbath miracle. Nearby, sing a chorus in St. Anne’s Church and marvel at its amazing acoustics. Visit Herod’s Antonia Fortress where Jesus was brought before Pontius Pilate. Walk the Via Dolorosa, "the Way of the Cross," and stand in reverence at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.

    April 30 - JERUSALEM
Start your day on the Mount of Olives and take in a breathtaking view of the "Golden City" of Jerusalem. It was from this mount that Jesus ascended into heaven 40 days after His resurrection. Pray among the olive trees in the Garden of Gethsemane where Jesus prayed the night He was betrayed with a kiss. On Mount Zion, enter the remains of the House of the High Priest Caiaphas where it is believed Jesus was held prior His crucifixion. Remember the Last Supper as you enter the Upper Room.

    May 1 - JERUSALEM
Pray alongside the Jewish faithful at the Western Wall. Visit the Southern Wall Excavations including the Teaching Steps. In modern Jerusalem, visit Yad Vashem and see the poignant exhibits in honor of the victims of the Holocaust. Finally, gather at the Garden Tomb to reflect on the agony of the crucifixion and the glory of the resurrection! After dinner, transfer to the airport for the journey home. May 2 - RETURN Return home with a transformed faith and memories to last a lifetime!
