Day 3 - Athens After breakfast we will visit the world-renowned Acropolis, with the ruins of the Parthenon, Erectheum and Prophylaea. We will
ascend Mars Hill, where Paul preached, and also view the Agora (ancient marketplace and former center
of Athenian public life), and the House of Parliament, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, and the Palace. In the afternoon, we will transfer to the port city of Piraeus, board our beautiful ship and begin our seven-day cruise of the Greek Isles and Turkey.

Day 4 - Santorini / Crete In the morning, we sail to Santorini, an island of volcanic ash rising 600 feet out of the Aegean Sea. Transportation to
the top is by donkey, and the view is breathtaking. Some believe this is the region of the lost continent of Atlantis. We will arrive in Crete this afternoon. Crete is the
island known at Caphtor (Deut. 2:23), and associated with Paul's Journeys (Acts 27). Crete was the brilliant center of the flourishing Minoan civilization (2500-1200 B.C.). Our
visit includes Knossos, capital of the Minoan antiquities. [Santorini shore excursion optional, $47; Crete shore excursion included.]
Day 5 - Rhodes As we approach Rhodes, we are reminded of the 100-foot Colossus of Rhodes,
the sun god Helios in bronze, one of the Seven Wonders of the World, which guarded this harbor in ancient days. Today, as we enter the harbor, we will see a part of the knights' fortifications, built by a Crusading Order originating from Palestine. After our stroll, you may enjoy the cosmopolitan atmosphere from one of the elegant cafes on the yacht harbor. Or you can take our excursion to visit the Temple of Athena on the majestic, rocky Acropolis of Lindos, with the blue Aegean spreading out before it and the sophisticated, whitewashed artists' colony at its foot. [Rhodes shore excursion with Lindos optional, $47.]
Day 6 - Patmos / Ephesus Patmos is the beautiful, rocky island where the exiled St. John received
the mystical Revelation that forms the last book of the New Testament. Our guide will take us to the Grotto of the Revelation and then on to the 11th century Monastery of St. John, which houses an original manuscript of the Gospel. Enjoy the panoramic view from this superb, fortress-like complex, high on a hill. We will also visit one of the greatest sights in the Hellenistic world, Diana (Artemis), one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. We will see the vast, magnificent ruins of one of the most important cities of Ancient Asia Minor, still undergoing excavation. Ephesus was founded in the 10th century, B.C., and was subdued by both Croesus and Alexander the Great. The inhabitants of this city received a letter from the apostle Paul that later became one of the epistles of the New Testament. [Patmos shore excursion included; Ephesus shore excursion included.]

world-renowned Covered Bazaar with more than 5,000 shops under one continuous roof. Here we will be able to bargain for every kind of merchandise imaginable. As the sun sets, we will sail back through the Dardenelles enroute to Greek waters. [Highlights of Istanbul shore excursion optional, $65.]

windmills, dazzling white houses and narrow paved streets with a cosmopolitan air of carefree living. We will have free time to explore this quaint island, take to the beach, or enjoy shopping. Stroll at leisure through the whitewashed, flower-decked alleyways to the sculpture-like church of Paraportiani, or along the waterfront to the famous windmills. [Mykonos shore excursion optional, $27.]
Day 10 - Piraeus / Corinth We will arrive back in Greece at the port of Piraeus early in the morning. After disembarkation procedures, we will
motorcoach to the remarkable remains of Biblical Corinth. The apostle Paul addressed two of his epistles to the
Church in that city. After our visit to the ruins and to the BEMA (II Corinthians 5:10), we will have a greater understanding of the background to his epistles.
