and a note from the prescribing physician on letterhead stationary for controlled substances and
injectable medications should be carried)
2) Antimalarial medications, if applicable
3) Antidiarrheal medication (e.g., bismuth subsalicylate, loperamide)
4) Antibiotic for self-treatment of moderate to severe diarrhea
5) Antihistamine Decongestant, alone or in combination with antihistamine
6) Antimotion sickness medication
7) Acetaminophen, aspirin, ibuprofen, or other medication for pain or fever
8) Mild laxative
9) Cough suppressant/expectorant
10) Throat lozenges
11) Antacid
12) Antifungal and antibacterial ointments or creams 1% hydrocortisone cream
13) Epinephrine auto-injector (e.g., EpiPen), especially if history of severe allergic reaction
14) Insect repellent containing DEET (up to 50%)
15) Sunscreen (preferably SPF 15 or greater)
16) Aloe gel for sunburns
