Daily Itinerary

Day 1 - Nov. 5 - DEPARTURE

Your journey begins when you depart the USA on your overnight international flight. Meals served in flight.

Day 2 - Nov. 6 - ARRIVAL

Welcome to Israel! Upon arrival in Tel Aviv, you will be greeted by your guide and transferred to your hotel in Nazareth for a good night’s rest.

Day 3 - Nov. 7 - MEGIDDO, BET SHEAN, YARDENIT BAPTISMAL SITE / NAZARETH (MOUNT PRECIPICE)

Travel the ancient caravan route to Tel Megiddo, an exciting archaeological dig with its layers of twenty different cities built on top of each other. See the incredible, uncovered ruins of Bet Shean, one of the 10 cities of the decapolis, where the bodies of Saul and his sons hung from the ancient city gates. Travel north to where the Jordan River exits the southern point of the Sea of Galilee and visit Yardenit, a place of baptism for many groups. View Nazareth, the boyhood home of Jesus, from Mount Precipice, where Luke describes how the Lord was rejected by those in the synagogue. Filled with anger, they “led Him unto the brow of the hill whereon their city was built, that they might cast Him down headlong.”

Day 4 - NOV. 8 - CAPERNAUM, MOUNT OF BEATITUDES, BOAT RIDE, CAESAREA PHILIPPI

After enjoying the Israeli buffet breakfast, spend most of your day around the Sea of Galilee. Enter the 2,000-year-old remains of Capernaum and stand in what is left of the synagogue in which the Lord ministered. Visit the traditional site where Yeshua preached His Sermon on the Mount, the Mount of Beatitudes. Look over Kursi, where Jesus cast out evil spirits from a demon-possessed man and sent them into a group of swine. After a fish lunch, enjoy a beautiful boat ride across the Sea of Galilee. Then, we travel north to the ruins of Caesarea Philippi, where Peter made his confession of faith to the Lord by saying, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the Living God.” We return to our hotel in Nazareth and prepare for our departure in the morning.

Day 5 - Nov. 9 – JORDAN VALLEY, QUMRAN, MASADA, EIN GEDI, DEAD SEA, JERUSALEM

Travel through the Jordan River Valley, the route often taken by Yeshua and other Galileans as they traveled to and from Jerusalem. Walk the remains of an ancient community near the shores of the Dead Sea at Qumran. Then, continue south to the Herodian fortress of Masada. Built by Herod the Great, it became the last stand of the Jewish resistance to the Roman army, finally succumbing in 73AD. Visit Ein Gedi, where David and his men hid to escape death at the hands of King Saul. Transfer to Jerusalem for check into our hotel, dinner and overnight.

Day 6 - Nov. 10 – SAMUEL’S MOUNTAIN, BETHLEHEM (MIGDAL EDER)

Enjoy a visit to Samuel’s Mountain, where Hanna was given the blessing of becoming the mother of one of the great prophets in Israel’s history. View Bethlehem/Migdal Eder Tower of the Flock - the TRUE birthplace of Yeshua. Also, see the Valley of Blessing.

Day 7 - Nov. 11 – MOUNT OF OLIVES, CRUCIFIXION SITE, GARDEN OF GETHSEMANE

Stand on the Mount of Olives for a remarkable view of the “Golden City” of Jerusalem and consider that this is the final place the Lord stood before ascending into heaven forty days after His resurrection. This site is also the site of Golgotha and the tomb of Yeshua. Pray as Yeshua did in the Garden of Gethsemane among the olive trees in the Kidron Valley, just across from the walls of Jerusalem.

Day 8 - Nov. 12 - YAD VASHEM, WESTERN WALL (KOTEL), OLD CITY TOUR, CITY OF DAVID, CARDO, SOUTHERN STEPS, POOL OF SILOAM

Visit the Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial and be touched by its poignant images of a terrible time in human history. Pray at the Western Wall that was built by Herod the Great as a retaining wall for the Temple platform. Walk through the Old City and enjoy the preserved, ancient culture found in the narrow streets, as well as the modernized Cardo in the Jewish Quarter. See the remains of the City of David on the southern slope of the city of Jerusalem, where King David built his castle. Visit the Southern Steps of the ancient Temple Mount complex, where the Lord would have exited, met the man born blind and sent him to the Pool of Siloam for his healing (John 9).

Day 9 - Nov. 13 – KNESSET VISIT, SHOPPING IN JERUSALEM

Have a tour of the Knesset building, after which you can take to the streets for shopping and sightseeing.

Day 10 - Nov. 14 - Valley of Elah, Seashore, Joppa Old City

Today, journey through the Valley of Elah, where David slew the giant, Goliath. Drive through Biblical Joppa, now the port city of Jaffa. Tel Aviv was founded on the outskirts of the city in 1909 and today surrounds the entire city. Return to the hotel for dinner and preparation for return to the USA.

Day 11 - Nov. 15 - Return to the USA

Return home with a transformed faith and memories to last a lifetime! Meals served in flight.
